Since 2023 I have been directing and producing the video content for the YJLC which most recently has meant partnering up with the Ministry of Justice to create training material for lawyers to better represent children.

Here is a selection of the different video content I have created for the YJLC over the years.

YJLC Summit 2025

Collaborating with Children - Applying Child First Principles in Practice

This year’s Youth Justice Summit was uniquely crafted and led by a team of passionate young people dedicated to improving youth justice services. With the theme of Child First, Collaboration, and Participation, the summit aimed to explore these critical issues and push forward meaningful change in youth justice practices.

Make Some Noise - YJLC & Art Not Evidence at
Richmix Highlights

Black boys in the Criminal Legal System are facing gross injustice. Joint Enterprise and Conspiracy cases which rely on ‘evidence’ of a gang narrative, and rap and drill music, are steeped in racism. Those who work in the criminal legal system, youth justice and the music industry need to understand the issues so they can develop strategies for what to do.

In this panel discussion, leading experts Dr Patrick Williams, Aika Stephenson, Ciaran Thapar, Justin Finlayson and Audrey Cherryl Mogan explored these issues and discussed practical strategies for addressing them. Watch the highlights here.
